Family
Renee and I were married back in the summer of 2000 (same day as Brad Pit and Jennifer Aniston) and it has been the joy of my life to have her as my wife. We have three cute yet throughly crazy boys, Will (2004), Ian (2006), and Beckett (2009) and three fish (Bluedy, Cutie and Cactus) that we replace in stealth each time one dies.
Hometown
Oklahoma City
Education & Experience
Shortly after Hunter and I started talking/dreaming/praying about planting a church together in the Spring of 2003, an opportunity came up for me to move to Cambridge, UK as a research fellow (sounds cooler than what it really was - trust me!) which then led to PhD studies at Durham University in Northern England. After two years in England I changed my student status to 'part-time' and we moved to Denver to join up with Hunter, who had already moved to Uptown, to help start Fellowship. I finally submitted my dissertation at the end of March in 2010 to the joy of Renee, Hunter, and everyone else who has helped me through this process.
