In our previous series, we saw that The Story of history is one of creation, fall, redemption. It ends not with saved souls floating on clouds but with resurrected people living in a “new heavens and new earth” - a completely renewed physical creation. Therefore, the storyline of creation, fall, redemption applies not just to individual people but to every aspect of created existence.
In this sense, The Story is not just another “spirituality.” It’s a comprehensive worldview that applies to everything, and being a Christian means learning to apply The Story to every aspect of life. In this series, we’ll look at some the more common aspects of earthly life and how creation, fall, and redemption touches them all.
