To help those experiencing health or job disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fellowship Denver Church has established a Temporary Financial Assistance Program.
Through this program, we offer emergency support to congregation members, family, friends, and neighbors experiencing lost income due to layoff, unpaid furlough, business disruption or other life transitions. To be eligible for support, an individual should be part of Fellowship Denver or referred by a staff or congregation member of Fellowship Denver.
We envision funds being used to cover these kinds of immediate needs: rents and bills coming due, medical expenses, food and household supplies, transportation, childcare. Assistance will be provided with a good-faith understanding that it will be used for these needs.
The application below requests information on employment, lost income, living expenses and how funds will be used. Supporting documentation may be requested, including pay stubs, receipts, bills. Once an applicant has been qualified and approved, payment will be released to cover a portion of living expenses for a temporary period, typically 4-8 weeks depending on the circumstances.
To request assistance, complete and submit this application form. All information will be used solely for the purpose of assessing needs and extending support. Applications will be kept confidential.
Once we receive your application, a member of the program team will contact you by email or telephone within 24-72 hours. The email will be sent from a Fellowship Denver account by a designated program coordinator.
