Mile High Ministries


Mile High Ministries mobilizes our communities and equips leaders for God's transformational work among the poor. Their work is accomplished through initiatives such as transformational housing for homeless families, legal advocacy for the poor, and training leaders for lives of service.


Mile High Ministries offers a variety of relationship-oriented volunteer opportunities with varying degrees of commitment. Some needs are particularly well suited for Fellowship Groups who want to serve together.

Opportunities for individuals

  • Tutor a K-12 student (through Whiz Kids)
  • Help plan and execute Kids Club (Tuesday evenings)
  • Mentor a 6-18 year old child
  • Prayer team
  • Building maintenance projects
  • Christian Store (seasonal)

Opportunities for groups

  • Help prepare and attend Community Dinners (Thursday evenings)
  • Help plan and execute Kids Club (Tuesday evenings)
  • Spruce-a-Room - redecorate the living area/bedrooms for a new family entering Joshua Station (costs about $500/materials)
