“The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve.” – Jesus (Mark 10:45)
Jesus had to remind his disciples often that he came to serve. It’s something they – and we – easily miss. But people who have been transformed by the gospel should want to follow his lead.
Many Fellowship Denver folks serve in important and low-key ways. In this section, we put the spotlight on ways you too can serve and be served, both inside and outside the church.
Serve Denver is our church’s partnership initiative with local non-profit organizations that encourages our members to serve the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of fellow Denverites. By partnering with effective, healthy organizations, we multiply our efforts.
Children & Families
We have a full program for children age 6 months to pre-K and Children’s Church for K-6th Grade.
Everyone goes through seasons when they need wise help. Sometimes we need help because of our circumstances; life in a fallen world has happened to us (Rom. 8:18-25). Sometimes we need help because of our own sin. Believers in Christ are still in-process of being transformed; we should expect a struggle between old sinful desires and our new life in Christ (Gal. 5:16-24; Eph. 5:26-27). Sometimes we need help because we’re confused and don’t know what to do next (James 1:2-5).
