Save Our Youth works to transform the lives of at-risk youth through mentor relationships providing the skills for success in educational, emotional, and spiritual development.
As a mentor with Save Our Youth, you will have the opportunity to be matched with an at-risk youth. Your role as a mentor is to be a caring adult role model for your mentee; to listen, encourage, guide, and provide emotional support and stability.
Save Our Youth has a proven process for matching you and your mentee based on similar personality and interest. And, they provide support to you throughout the mentoring relationship. In an effort to provide stability for the mentee, a one year minimum commitment is requested, however, SOY’s average mentoring relationship lasts for three years!
